There was discussion
on procedures with new memberships and renewals.
Voted to reimburse Ron for postage expenses.
Discussion on forming a budget; planned a special board meeting for
March 22.
Casino night…. $3500 in door prizes.
Eight Liner’s tickets will go to door prize drawing.
Banner is being made for the organization, cost of $131 to come from
table sponsorship income.
LBCC bought 26 sets of cards for Casino Night fund raiser.
Motion approved to spend $658 for ads and supplies for Casino Night.
Fish Fry for Striper tournament on May 5 at Hi Line Resort - Henry Parker
in charge.

Sam formed a Tourism Advertising Company.
We need to acquire Survey for businesses locations of where the customers
come from.

Description of purchase and raising process for fish fry described.
Catherine Adair for LCRA introduced LCRA presentation for Encroachment
Resolution Program.
Melvin Noack Real Estate services manager for LCRA and Susan Eschenburg
made the presentation.
Encroachment definition: Unauthorized use of public land.
In 1992 LCRA BOD mandated fixing the unauthorized encroachment issues
Encroachment issues come up at real estate closings, which should have
been resolved earlier.
Typical issues are retaining walls or other structures being built or
back fill being placed to add to owner’s property.
Per Melvin Noack: No lease from the LCRA is required for non commercial
use and less than 1500 sq. ft. in size for Boat Ramps, Fishing Piers
and Boat Docks below the 1020 line. Commercial uses require lease.
Surveys required by owner’s expense.
All sales of LCRA property have to be approved by the board and advertised
to the public.
Revenues acquire by sale of property is used to purchase land for public
