Question: Is the LBCC planning to install a buoy system in the lake?
Answer: No, this was brought up at one of the early meetings of the group, but was not selected as a project at this time.

Question: Does the LBCC have anything to do with private boat ramps or docks?
Answer: No, the LBCC is only involved with improving Public Access to the lake.

Question: What has the LBCC done to help stock the lake?
Answer:
In May 2006 we stocked the lake with 500,000 Hybrid Striper Fry. In May 2007, with funding from the Burnet County Hotel/Motel tax fund, we stocked the lake with approx. 150,000 Hybrid Striper fingerlings. In September using the remainder of the funds, we stocked the lake with approx. 10,000 Channel Catfish fingerlings.

Question: What is the LBCC doing in regard to Public Access?
Answer: We have a committee dedicated to this and are working with Burnet and Llano Counties as well as the LCRA. Current status is that the LCRA has developed detailed plans for the Silver Creek Park on the East side and Black Rock Park on the West. Money in the form of grants is now being sought to finance the projects.
