The meeting, held at the LCRA Building on Hwy. 1431, was called to order at 6:08 pm by President George Bold.

The Minutes from the Board meeting July 15, 2008, were read and approved.

The Treasurer’s Report was read and approved

Plans for the Fish Fry fund raiser were discussed.

An update on the Fish Flyer Advertising was presented by George Bold.

Alan Jankowski led a discussion on the dates for the 2009 Casino Night Fund Raiser.
Gwen Carpenter will discuss dates with the Chamber of Commerce and report back.

The Meeting Calling Service was discussed.  The Board decided to have Larry Boyd appoint a 3 member Telephone Committee to alert members to meeting dates and upcoming events.

There was no new business.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 pm by President George Bold.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

August 19, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m.

The Minutes from the July 15, 2008, meeting were read and approved

The Treasurer’s Report was reviewed and approved

There was a discussion on the upcoming Fish Fry Fund Raiser.  Members were encouraged to volunteer and a volunteer sign up sheet was passed around.
 
George Bold gave an update on the advertisements on the back of our Fish Identifier Flyer.    There are still 3 ad spaces available.

There was no New Business.

The Program was presented by Bill Blackburn, retired Texas Game Warden and soon to be Llano County Sheriff along with Game Warden Sean Reneau.  They presented a program addressing current hunting, fishing and boating laws.  The presentation concluded with an question and answer period.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:53 pm
