The meeting, held at the LCRA Building on Hwy. 1431, was called to order at 6:08 pm by President George Bold.

The Minutes from the Board meeting March 18, 2008, were read and approved.

The Treasurer’s Report was read and approved.  

The Board discussed the 2008 Hybrid Striper Restocking Project.   Due to a larger than expected hatch, we received and extra 100,000 fry.  The Board discussed the lodging survey forms.  George reported that we could order 10,000 4x6 forms with a matte finish for $545.  Gwen Carpenter made a motion to purchase the survey forms, Ken Milam seconded the motion.  All were in favor.

The Board discussed our upcoming  Casino Night.  The poker tables arrived and were used at the Lake Buchanan-Inks Lake Chamber fund raiser.  Suggest we add a non-skid padding under the tables to keep them from sliding away from the dealers.

The Board discussed  selling ads on our Fish Identifier Flyers to help cover the cost of printing and display cases.    Ron Abshier made a motion to sell 12 ads on the flyer for $150 for a year; motions seconded by Gwen Carpenter.  All were in favor.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:39 pm by President George Bold.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

April  15, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm.

There were 15eople who signed in.

The Minutes from the March 18, 2008, meeting were read and approved

The Treasurer’s Report was reviewed and approved

 An update on the Hybrid Striper Restocking Project   was given   

George Bold reported that the poker tables arrived and were shared with the Lake Buchanan-Inks Lake Chamber for their fund raiser and are now in storage.  We will use them for our Casino Night.

The Survey Cards for Burnet Hotel Occupancy Tax Grant were presented.  We have a zip code software program that will determine where tourists are coming from.
 
George Bold announced that we will be selling advertisements on our Fish Identifier Flyers for $150 per year.

Paul Dorman from the Inks Dam Fish Hatchery presented an informative program on the Quaaga Mussel.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:34 pm
